Benzinpreis - Gas price

Hier jammern die armen (und die reichen) Amerikaner schon wieder über die hohen Benzinpreise. Zur Zeit kostet die Gallone Super hier in Keams Canyon 2.23 Dollar (etwas teurer als in der Großstadt). Mit der aktuellen Umrechnungsrate von 1.2085 Dollar pro Euro erhalten wir:

2.23 / 1.2085 / 3.7854118 = 0.4875...

Also, ungefähr 49 Euro Cents pro Liter. Ich glaub' ich muß die mal über Deutsche Preisverhältnisse aufklären...


According to www.Benzinpreis.de Germans currently pay 1.23 Euros for one liter of Super (89, the middle choice, not the rocket fuel). With the current exchange rate of 1.2085 Dollars per Euro we get:

1.23 x 1.2085 x 3.7854118 = 5.6268...

Quipso quostrum ex emptorum, you pay 5 bucks 63 for a gallon of gas in Germany! Did I hear anybody complain about the current price of gas?
