Aus dem Südwesten in den Mittleren Westen - Out of the Southwest into the Midwest

'Tschuldigung für die derzeitige Funkstille hier im Schlabitz-Blog. Wir sind fleißig am Packen und ich muß noch eine Übersetzung fertigstellen, bevor wir hier das Lager abbrechen. Der aktuelle Plan ist den Miet-LKW am 4. Juni abzuholen, vollzupacken, 3 Tage auf der Route 66 (na gut, die heisst heutzutage I-40) zu fahren und um den 10. Juni ("Herzlichen Glückwunsch, Antje!" Sicherheitshalber... 8-D ) bei Dan und Janet in Illinois einzurollen. Dort sind wir dann telefonisch, brieflich und mailisch erreichbar. Dort können wir auch, Dank der Gastfreundlichkeit der Schwiegereltern, eine Weile wohnen, bis wir Beruf, Haus und Internetanbieter gefunden haben. Mehr im Juni. Bis dann!

Sorry for the current dead air here at the Schlabitz-Blog. We are busily packing and I still have to finish one more translation before we break camp here. The present plans are to pick up the U-Haul truck on June 4th, load it up, drive 3 days on Route 66 (ok, ok, I-40) and arrive around June 10th (Happy Birthday, Antje! Just in case... 8-D ) at Dan and Janet's in Illinois. There you can reach us by phone and mail (with or without e).
